Types of Appraisals
There are several stages to writing an appraisal. First, an inspection of the properties occurs. Next, relevant markets and historical data are researched. This includes finding comparable properties that help the appraiser determine the value of the items. The final report is then written and sent to you.

Our appraisals conform to the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice, the Code of Ethics of the American Society of Appraisers, the Code of Ethics of the Appraisers Association of America, and IRS guidelines.

Insurance Appraisals
Are your valuable items protected under your insurance policy? Many umbrella policies have exclusions for fine art, antiques, silver and collectibles, and will only cover these items if they are scheduled separately. Our insurance appraisals will list these items as well as their condition and value, enabling you to avoid complications with the insurance company should anything unexpected happen in the future.
